The Cof E released preliminary stats for 2024 . There is an interesting comment about them here. They appear to show an ongoing recovery from the pandemic. The archbishops are suggesting that new people are coming into the church in significant numbers.
It is worth noting that the numbers , if proven correct, still leave the CofE attendance over 8% lower than it would have been if the pre-2020 decline continued. That’s around 3 years of additional decline.
But the continued recovery is both unexpected and good news.
